would you have been cold on this guy for President because he was a lowly actor who once made a movie with a chimp?

This line of thinking is outdated by the way. The Dem ticket will be something like Newsom and AOC and it will be the most openly far left ticket in American history. They will have an energized far left young base.
We need to counter with a true AF ticket that will energize our young base as well.
Geography is so 2016. Nobody will care where you are from in 2028.

Vance Yes but not Rubio

That would fire up the base.
They would be no match for Mandhami and AOC.

To think there may be an entire generation of young men who have no experience with this.

Beating Oklahoma in football? Yeah, that has to be hard on Bunk.

Does anyone really care about this now? I feel like younger voters just like candidates and don’t really care where they are from as long as they’re a good candidate.

Always important to, all of us, remember... who we want as individuals may not be who can win.
That said, I just don't think i can vote for anyone that takes one cent from AIPAC. They are not our allies.

2024, I had never at all been impressed with Rubio. Never.
But being in Trump's admin, he's changed my mind and been a formidable arse-kicker. I've truly never done a 180° on a politician as quickly as Rubio. I don't know if I was wrong about him all along or if I was right but he finally came into a position where he could actually use his power the way he should. But the Rubio that is working for us right now, is truly a force to be reckoned with.
Things might change before then, bit at this time I pretty much feel like a Vance/Rubio ticket will be unbeatable. Rubio has always been very popular with the Hispanic/Latino community, and their votes will be absolutely critical in '28. Gavin will pretty much be obligated to pick a female LGBXYZ or DEI hire for his VP, so he might as well just wave the flag now before he even officially declares.

Weve gone from Trump 45 (one missile strike in Syria) to Trump 47 (about to launch our 4th incursion in under a year) all thanks to Neocon Marco.

Horrible choice, his opinions on topics are like a weather vane, they change directions all the time to follow the latest trends. Totally untrustworthy.
