The judge tells us the organization handling mental health evaluations for the court had no one available. Also, Ellis would have had to sit in jail for days on a very minor case.

“There wasn’t any red flags shooting up that pole. There wasn’t any indications here. No sign of mental distress. No sign of previous, violent acts,” Judge Hagan said

quote:

What would you do differently handling this case, or even next time?” the I-Team asked.

“Nothing. I’m confident in the way this court handled the matter,” the judge said. “We did it by the letter of the law. There was nothing there to send up the alarms.”

When someone says they want to kill someone and eat their flesh, maybe you take them at their fricking word? Just a thought.

If I was the local DA, I'd have him arrested for accessory to murder.

Exactly. The legal profession has long broken their ethical pact with society. If they are going to play games with the law, the people should treat them accordingly.

Here’s the kind of reform of qualified immunity I could get behind.

End qualified immunity for judges.

It’s hard to know what to feel in this case.

My dog has a greater developed sense of morals and ethics than Bionca Ellis.

Would be terrible for something to happen to him…..or his kids.

You know, kinda like he allowed a predator out to kill a kid.

Saying this out loud is the kind of thing that will draw personal trouble in today’s societal dynamic, but a lot of people are thinking it. And it’s just a matter of time before it happens. Reminds me of the BR guy that shot the Priest at the airport for sexually abusing his son back when. You can bet that shooting did more to stop child abuse re pedophilia than all the evaluations and counseling there is. It’s coming.

Jeffrey Doucet wasn’t a priest; he was a karate instructor.

Just watched the story on the news and the boys Father was behind her watching while she smirked in court as the charges were being read. You could tell he was in shock and was being held back by his Family members.

The Judge should be held accountable for releasing this piece of garbage.
