According to her LinkedIn, Lauf worked as a special adviser to the US Department of Commerce in DC from December last year to this July.

Before that, she worked at Uber in their partnerships and community affairs team, and today works for her family’s Woodstock supply chain company.

I still don't know whether she has any higher education. I assume she does but apparently she works for mommy and daddy and perhaps not as a bartender depending upon what the supply chain is.
