I would also love for someone, anyone to tell me why the populist stance is wrong. Appealing to the common man is appealing to the majority of the voting base. Isn't this the exact thing leftists want (democracy is and of itself populism bu default). Populism is actually nothing more than a politician doing exactly what their constituants want them to do and it what any contractor should do (do not get anything confused. Politicians are in fact contractors working for the people).
