They would never.

Mitch even said in the piece that he likes Biden and Biden campaigned as a moderate but has lost his way. He said he plans to bring Biden back to being a moderate.

As they shouldn't. Without any possible chance of removal, impeachment is fricking retarded and nothing but a waste of time and political capital. No one should support any form of pointless political theater, which is all that impeachment without removal is.

Dana Perino and those pretending to be journalists are hacks.

Why didn’t she and others ask:

So let’s assume you can pass legislation on the border, taxes, education, student loan debt, etc., how do you overcome a Biden veto?

Will you be able to overcome a filibuster? How? You didn’t during GWB and Trump. What’s different now?

Didn't turtle vote for some of that shite?

HE AND THE REST OF THE RINOS HAPPILY VOTED FOR ALL OF IT AND THEN SOME.

they will do what they did last time they had the majority, vote to approve every dumb dimrat spending idea that came along, then claim they were great because they trimmed it down a few billion when they all voted to approve another 5 trillion in new spending

Yeah.

Much better to spend time and capital on other pointless ventures. Like all the times they voted to kill Obamacare knowing it wouldn’t become law.

Meanwhile, let a corrupt, demented, clearly impaired senile old man who is obviously not in charge continue acting like president.

What will you do about corruption?

Nothing.

Will anything come of the laptop?

You mean like Hillary? Ha ha. No.

What about getting justice for 1/6 political prisoners?

There will be no justice.

What about cleaning up the DOJ, cia, fbi, et al?

We can’t clean it up.

Don’t you get it yet?

The majority can’t get anything done, not from republicans. We can oppose. We can’t lead. It’s too hard.

Just like some cnn hack never asks a real, tough, in-depth question of Schumer or Pelosi, Perino would never ask such of the Old Crow.

She’s there to toss him softballs and let him narrate.

Impeaching him would do absolutely nothing to impact Biden's status as POTUS.

Why not work on passing things in areas where there is actual consensus?

we really don't have anyone representing our interests in the government. These guys will bend over backwards for the Democrats but will do absolutely nothing that we ask of them.

frick you McConnell.

If he’s going to veto it all, then what’s the fricking point?

So far these guys are all talk.

I'm wondering what the commie dems will push thru in the transition period...that is what we need to figure out how to end/reverse.

The rest will be pointless until theirs a Repub prez to sign. Unless there is a veto proof majority, which could be fun, but doubtful.

Two lies in one sentence. Republicans did very little to slow spending under Trump. Also, they have no intention of "shutting it off.

The only difference between Democrats and Republicans when it comes to fiscal responsibility is that Democrats say they want to spend 20 trillion and then only spend 3 trillion, Republicans say they will only spend 1 trillion and then spend 3 trillion.

Defense: “We need to spend a lot more on defense and security. Biden’s call for more military spending doesn’t even keep pace with inflation. We need lots more. We have serious issues with Russia. We need to make sure we have every resource and tool to do whatever we need.”

And then there's that. frick all of this. We spend hundreds of billions more than we need to on defense. We need to freeze the defense budget where it currently is and dramatically overhaul our defense department to remove bloat and corruption.

Pretty sure Trump was tossing dollars out of helicopters as well.

What are we seeing out of Russia’s military that justifies an increase in defense spending.
