Sen. John McCain(R-Ariz.) on Thursday clarified that his walking boot is on his right foot, adding that he switched it to his left to “give it a break.”
McCain caused confusion when he posted a photo from his daughter Meghan’s wedding in which his walking boot was on his left foot. He had previously been seen wearing it on his right foot after he suffered a minor tear in his right Achilles tendon.

Thank you for your support & best wishes. My left leg was doing extra work to compensate for the boot, so I'm giving it a break. I still hate wearing this boot, but it won't slow us down from frying 7 turkeys today!

That is bullshite. He should have gotten someone in the medical field to proof this before he said it.

Yeah, he would have been better off just lying and saying he hurt his other tendon on the other foot. and also, suddenly--- the original achilles tendon injury is called 'minor.' A tear or any injury-- on this tendon is very painful and a foot boot isn't usually needed. (Also the use of crutches is suggested preventing the weight on the other foot.) He had no crutches, he had a wheelchair but appeared in a photo (to save face) only with a cane. But any weight on the tendon is silly, i e...a walking cast-boot.
(In the olden days I knew someone that broke her achilles and she was in a cast, wheelchair, no- walking boot)
Maybe the poli board docs can pipe in?

Treatment
Minor to moderate Achilles tendon injuries should heal on their own. To speed the process, you can:
Rest your leg. Avoid putting weight on your leg as best you can. You may need crutches.
Ice it. Ice your injury for up to 20 minutes at a time as needed.
Compress your leg. Use an elastic bandage around the lower leg and ankle to keep down swelling.
Raise (elevate) your leg. Prop your leg up on a pillow when you're sitting or lying down.
Take anti-inflammatory painkillers. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen and naproxen will help with pain and swelling. Follow the instructions on the label to help prevent side effects, such as bleeding and ulcers. Take them with food. Check with your doctor first if you have any allergies, medical problems or take any other medication. If you need them for longer than 7 to 10 days, call your doctor.
Use a heel lift. Your doctor may recommend that you wear an insert in your shoe while you recover. It will help protect your Achilles tendon from further stretching.
Practice stretching and strengthening exercises as recommended by your doctor, physical therapist, or other health care provider.

Just another pathetic liar

Well, I have that same walking boot. There are left and right walking boots... it’s not a universal boot for both feet.
And that is a right-footed walking boot in both pictures. So he doesn’t have a new one for his left foot. It’s the same one put on the wrong foot.

He forgot which foot was supposed to be hurt. Like a pathetic grade school child faking sick for mama's attention.

Well his explanation seems very truthful if you’re faking an injury. But why would he fake an injury? It doesn’t make him less of a piece of shite. .

Ahh so this is where the tinfoil tard brigade is.

If I remember correctly the boot isn't interchangeable between right and left feet. And those bitches cost like 400 bucks so he spent at least 400 trying to con us

What a retarded explanation.

It's all so freaking bizarre. What the hell is going on?

You can tell how much he respects the intelligence of the American people by publishing that load of hooey.
Posted on 11/25/17 at 7:19 am to Y.A. Tittle
Was he giving his right foot a break or his left foot a break? Was he giving the boot a break?
It doesn't make sense. I wish journalists would actually question these stupid statements.

Definitely rocking a court ordered ankle bracelet.

It is bizarre. The pic was from his daughters wedding. When you have a million plus in your McCain slush fund from the Saudi's, and your wife is very wealthy...WHY do you get the servants to drag out the dining room chairs to the pond? (McCain could have put his arms around people for a normal wedding pic, huh?)
