I'll help you out. A friend of mine's family, their business was named in a lawsuit by a larger company, for their activity dumping oil from transformers. Whether or not they sold them anything was irrelevant, they had a choice... pay the $10,000 to make it go away, or pay ten times that in legal fees to defend themselves with it being unlikely to ever recover that money. It was a very curious case to watch but very stressful for the family.
