I'm so tired of people actingy like Mayorkas is incompetent. He's doing exactly what he's being told to do. None of this is incompetence. It's aiding an invasion.

Good. This seems like a no brainer as he’s specifically refusing to enforce the law.
.

He was doing that two years ago. R Party waits until 9 months before election to do anything

The House has impeached DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas by one vote.

The same 3 Republicans voted no:

1. Mike Gallagher (R-WI)
2. Tom McClintock (R-CA)
3. Ken Buck (R-CO)

get em gone

I’m proud that the house impeached the traitor. This is the first impeachment of a cabinet member since US Grant was president. Think we are living in contentious times? Happy that Steve Scalise was the deciding vote. Glad that Mike Johnson is speaker. Now tell the senate and Biden to pound sand on the foreign aid to the Ukraine. Give them a loan but no aid.

1. Secure the border
2. Help Israel
3. Work with Putin to end the war.
4. If Putin won’t stop LOAN Ukraine money to kick his arse.

How completely sad is it that our elected representatives will put party before country, despite OBVIOUS evidence that the man being impeached is NOT acting in the best interests of the country.

His own mother should vote to have him removed from office. That's how sinister his actions have been.

He's not the only one - by a long shot - but it's a start.

Wrong.

They need a simple majority in the House to impeach.

They need 2/3 of senators to convict and remove. So it will take 67 senators.

Schumer has said that they will not have a trial. They will put the impeachment into a committee so there won’t be a televised trial to adjudicate the house impeachment.

November will come and go. The impeachment won’t even get a vote in the senate. Demorat party is dirty, but they stick together. Republicans suck.

Yeah exactly......we all know he is not getting impeached but put his record up for scrutiny and force the RINOS to go on the record backing this piece of shite.

Is this merely a message to the American people when it's likely to be DOA in the Senate? Will the Senate - when they deep-six the measure - be seen as facilitators of the border mess? Will it finally expose the Democrats as the maniacal vote harvesters they are even at the expense of the country? Are they burning the country down only to rule over the ashes?

Just heard a high-up border agent say it will take about 5-6 years to get back to "normal" - if we start today.

There won't be a trial in the Senate.

What should happen is he is stripped of his citizenship, sent to Guantanamo Bay, tried for treason there, sentenced there, spends the rest of his life there.

Let’s remember that impeached doesn’t mean removed from office.
