So hey, frick the ports, trucking, interstate commerce, trade, and all that shite. To be fair to him, this has been a disaster for months to where even when he was working he was pure shite at his job, but hey can’t be bothered. Don’t want to comment on the Afghanistan fiasco either because why put focus on myself?
Just when you think this administration can’t get any worse or dumber, they manage to surprise you at every turn. My two babies are more important than every other baby looking for food and diapers. Why bother worrying about the supply line to everyone else when I’ve made it into the Big Club and will be taken care of forever? frick every other parent in this, I get to snooze on my job because I’m better than you.

“For the first four weeks, he was mostly offline except for major agency decisions and matters that could not be delegated,” said a spokesperson for the Department of Transportation. “He has been ramping up activities since then.” As he does that, Buttigieg will “continue to take some time over the coming weeks to support his husband and take care of his new children,” the spokesperson added.

At some point your job is too important for things like personal leave. I used to my own company; the company and my employees came first, above everything else, because their families depended on me for their livelihoods.

People on Twitter are rightfully pointing out that perhaps more egregious than his absence is the fact that the media didn't notice the key administration official was missing even during a crisis on his turf.

Here’s the thing: this has been a crisis for a while. I’ve been bitching about this since April and it was my very first question when the lockdowns were announced. Now it’s become too big to ignore. So Pete has been fricking this up since the start. This whole administration is a fricking clown show. Even people who hated Trump have to acknowledge his cabinet was nowhere near the clown show this is.
