Maybe we're going about this all wrong. Maybe it's time to support conservative Dems..?

It's becoming more and more evident that the Democrats know how to inspire their constituents, they know how to play the game and most importantly, they know how to cheat to win.

Perhaps it's time we just start changing our party affiliation to Dems. Think about it - maybe give into a few social issues to placate the national bedwetters, and then work a somewhat fiscal conservative agenda ala Manchin, Kristen Sinema, etc.

I don't think the Republicans have any future except complete and total chaos that will lead to Dem control anyway. And frankly, if the party is trying to pivot back to the unsuccessful GOPe era anyway, I don't think I can really respect them, let alone support them anyway.

How conservative is Manchin? Sinema?
And exactly what kind of fiscally conservative agenda have they supported and gotten passed.

Because they wouldn't vote for climate change suicide, Obama care or commie judges? Sounds like a plan. We already have Romney & Crenshaw, so we are off to a good start.

Manchin is just good at holding out until his palms are greased enough. He's not conservative in any way, shape, or form. There is no one on that side of the aisle who is worthy of working with at the moment.

Who? I don’t know of any. John Bel Edwards is about as conservative as they get.

A conservative Dem is one who believes we should transition to communism more slowly.

You show me a middle of the road Democrat who would be willing to run for president and I might just vote for them

I was going to post a similar thread. We can’t win the cities mainly because of social issues and taxes. Find some charismatic but underfunded Democrat moderates and help them win elections in the West and big cities across the country. Only do it in places where Republicans have no chance.

Absolutely. I admire the hell out of Democrats for their commitment and fight and willingness to do whatever it takes to win.

Contrast that with the Republicans. I despise their weakness.

Chuck Schumer would never...NEVER...go on live TV weeks before the election and whine about how Democrats had weak or underperforming candidates. Democrats just don’t do that. And he could have because the Democrats had lots of weak, flawed, and poor candidates. It would have been easy to do so. But Schumer and Pelosi would never do it. Schumer stood by a circus ape like Fetterman and bragged on him. He’ll stand by and go all in for any Democrat.

That’s all we have on our side of the isle.

We literally nominated and elected a lifelong democrat as president and they called him hitler. Stop negotiating with people who have no interest in anything but power.
