The "war" will be just like Hurricane Katrina, only Nationwide, as basic goods and services infrastructure goes away, for various reasons. Haves protecting what they have and desperate Have Nots going after it. I saw it firsthand in Katrina, as I live one 'gas tank' away from New Orleans, and if the Guard would not have shown up with guns and MREs/Water, hell would have broke loose within our towns and communities in a few days. People's character does not change during calamitous scenarios, it only becomes free re no systematic, civil LE restraints or consequences. Vigilantism ultimately rules, as loving and responsible people protect their beloved.
Many local churches opened their doors and shared their resources, but I doubt that would happen again, as the ingrained character of the desperate 'refugees' always surfaces. It did.
Humanity is going to learn a, perhaps THE, ultimate lesson in the next few years, as swelling populations and societal dysfunction vs government control becomes the norm. IMO, good intentions aside, we need help from Above to handle great power. Otherwise, our innate flaws create a Fermi Paradox scenario.

If this is the case, then you're part of the problem.
Ignore the binary and reject colloquialism. Arm yourself with the incontrovertible facts of the subject matter, and the Word of GOD as both your sword and your shield. The answers to everything are right there. This gives you the ability to answer all questions and react to every situation from a very finite and biblical perspective. You cannot and will not be caught off guard.
This "they" that you speak of, is called EVIL. It is ever-present, voracious and has an insatiable appetite for destruction, chaos, subterfuge and suffering. It easily finds its home within the listless and directionless, and then uses them as vessels to be a physical manifestation of violence, anarchy and confusion. "They" are very real, and they walk among us. Some are here even on this board.

If there is one? People have already given you names and their activities. Yes, there are people who would love to "fundamentally change" America and they're working hard to do so. Much of it is open and not even in the shadows.
You're correct that there are tons of people who just talk about "they" and are never specific because they have no clue, they just like the tribal aspect of the whole thing. That can be 100% true (and it is) and it has absolutely no bearing on my first paragraph or the information people have already responded with.

Well we just found out that there were 274 “theys” on the Capitol grounds on J6.
Almost 5 years later.
Other “theys” kept you from knowing their fellow “theys” were there for 5 years.

Okay, HB, simple answer. In a 'War' scenario, individuals or groups/gangs who show up in one's private space to confiscate one's basic life resources, via force. Given the current scenario, even gangs that show up with a 'white flag' and children in the front could not be trusted, as the Muslims always put the women and children out front. The 'shoot first' and ask questions later thing will be the unavoidable narrative. And as a Christian, that is what I fear most.
This seizure could also be in the form of systematic, government based 'Cancel' mechanisms. The more subtle form of confiscation is via printing money to "spread the wealth around" and the invisible tax of Inflation therein, on the 'Haves'.
Simple enough? Or too many words?

So you don't know what they look like, they can only be identified by their actions. It's kind of hard to be proactive against a group like that.
Still too vague, and not helpful at all.
That could apply to people who lost their jobs over comments they made regarding Charlie Kirk's assassination.
