I’m not sure if you’re agreeing or disagreeing, because what you’re calling the “Deep State” is what I already described. The bureaucrats with black budgets, the unelected agencies, the donor class that funds both sides. I just didn’t use the brand name.

Yes, I just defined the people the Deep State serves. That was the entire point of my post. That the real "They" are the people the Deep State serves.

I’ll make a note to stick to buzzwords and skip the descriptive reasoning next time we talk.
