How hard is it to understand 19 10-12 year old kids shot in the head with an automatic weapon, having to be identified by their shoes, clothing and DNA testing?

How stupid do you have to be to believe this talking point?

I thought it was a good speech. I don't agree with him, but he seemed genuine. 19 babies were murdered. I'm pretty sure it was heartbreaking to be around those parents.

Nothing will happen. There will be another school shooting before you know it, and we can play this same game again then.

If I thought it would do any good I'd actually be ok with raising the age to 21. Red flag laws, etc... but evil people will always do evil shite. Sad but true.

Wait, and you think the congressman have a better idea and are lesser blow hards? I’ve got a bridge to sell you. MM is a good guy, who i am willing to place a lot more trust in than most of the dip sh*TS in DC who have no principles and are in it for the fame

Amazing how many posters will not listen out of fear they could be persuaded. Sheep.

And maybe it was, I did not watch. I'm mostly stunned that he's appearing at a White House presser. So ineffectual they need to drag Hollywood actors further into it? Sad.

No. I'm a man. I can speak for my damn self, and I can make people listen. frick MM. I don't give a shite what his stupid arse has to say. Trying to get SOMETHING done? It's not gun control. What part of "shall not be infringed" do you frickers not understand. He obviously don't know shite about frick and if you think he does, then you don't either. Now go piss off.

You shouldn’t be stunned, they had a Korean boy band last week and some Tik Tok influencers pushing policy so MM is actually a step up.

I don't know if you know this, but nearly every country in the world has violent video games and movies.

Everyone also has entertainment and music.

Who knew?

I like McConaughey and all, and I get he's upset about all of that has happened in his hometown and he's trying to make a difference, but the guy is a fricking actor. What exactly does he know about guns and makes him an expert handling situations like this?

So, why did this happen other than using a celebrity to pander to idiot Americans? What expertise does he have in regards to guns that would make it reasonable to assume he needs to address the nation via The White House podium?

Having been form there can't be it, because I'd assume currently living there would be a more valuable trait, right?

Is it JUST The Left using fame to pander again?

Feels damn nit.

It’s odd that he had his message written out and with head down, read from it almost the entire time. Wouldn’t you think that an actor, of all people, who has to learn their lines for movies and plays, would have remembered what he was going to say in such an important situation?

I would have thought the very second he heard he was being given the opportunity to address the press in the White House press briefing room, which is essentially addressing the entire planet, he would have had something written within an hour or two and then spend the rest of the time ‘learning his lines!’

I found that very odd. Plus Matthew can get extremely quirky with his wild arm gestures and it even looks stranger when he has his head down reading. I felt he was more of a distraction than being helpful. I think he blew it.

That Dude needs to watch “Rape in the Congo” and educate himself. We could destroy every gun in America and mass murder would still be a problem. The heathen would use machetes. It’s a people problem not guns. Until these sociopaths are met with the force they employ the will continue to harm innocents and wreck civil society. Good folk had beat arm themselves against the Heathen and as well those who enable them. Humanity has a dark side.

What many consider, including myself, our greatest president was an actor....Ronald Reagan.

While I don't agree with much of what he said, I think the guy is really hurting over this with it being in his home town and interacting with the victims. The things he said I agree with is punishing those whose abuse 2A, the media has a big hand in this problem and extremist on both sides are fueling the flames that keep people apart on this issue.

The White House is using him as a pawn and frankly he's far more well spoken than the jibber-jabber that has been out of there for some time.

When I pay someone to entertain me. I do not want to hear their political opinions. I just want the clown to juggle.

Just juggle clown...juggle.
