So McConaughey is “only” a native of Uvalde? Dude wasn’t there on May 24th nor contributed any personal funds to any “Uvalde relief efforts” to my knowledge? Just hanging around the WH with the know-nothing lesbian Haitian press secretary to lecture Americans on gun control?

frick Matthew and his Austin mindset. I wish the SEC would deny UT entry into the conference for bullshite like this.

Looks like he was least at the real White House. So they actors speak there and potatus speak on a stage somewhere that looks sort of like the White House, lol

He needs to crawl back in his little whole and if and when I need entertainment from him I will look for it. Other than that STFU and go away. If this little weak administration thinks people are going to be swayed cause MM opened his mouth then one more notch in the belt for being stupid.

MM is an actor so this was an act

He’s an actor. Makes a living plying dress up and pretend on tv.
Same as Rosie O Donald. Paulie Shore. Jonny depp and his crazy ole lady. All just actors playing pretend

I like Matthew McConaughey but why should I care what he thinks about gun control, and even more important, why would the WH bring in an actor to deliver the message? I watched it, and it was a performance. We don’t need this in politics. We don’t need to be manipulated.

I watched it. he said come together we aren't divided. I would have respected him more if he came out with the truth that the left are the radicals with a culture war.

I saw the pair of green tennis shoes that MM's wife was holding.

I didn't see a spot of dirt or blood on them.

I found that odd.

Also, someone should tell MM just because he's an actor doesn't mean he has to ALWAYS be acting.

Or that outside of a movie, no one gives a shite about anything he says.

I am not open for any new laws or reg talk: as they don't enact the ones they have now.

It is a political talking point for elections to fire up the left, ban guns and abortion.

Also: no talking until the Southern border is what it should be CLOSED.

MM didn't say a word about the guns, drugs flowing through the border killing kids and all walks of life in OD's.

My car's been making a funny sound. Might take it to the mechanic this week.

I'd respect if he'd mentioned that the entertainment, music, and video games play a role.As does, mental health and the lack of parental role models involved in lives. There's so much more to this than just guns.

I watched it, and it was embarrassing for him....slamming the desk, yelling out, I turned it off in a cringe.

He aint no conservative!

And who really gives a shite what this guy thinks....he believes he will be a good politician....NOT!!!!!

What little I had for him, is now in the shitter.

Meanwhile, innocent citizens' guns are taken, possibly destroyed, returned years later/damaged/lost, or never returned at all just because of some liar. That's a "no" for me, pal.

Nobody is bringing up violent video games and movies that glorify murder and gun violence.

Hollywood needs to stop movies that glorify the use of guns. Let's start with Affleck, DeNiro, Alec B, Matt Damon, George Clooney, and Sam Jackson just for starters. Let's see those hypocritical cock suckers put their money where their mouthes are.

So we're back to Hollywood elites dictating how we should function as a society?

Oh great
