The only thing a libertarian can bitch about is the spending. As if we can get away from spending money. But everything else he does aligns with their so-called "principles" moreso than any other president in our lifetimes. Yet they still bitch. Because they're programmed to bitch like idiotic sheep. Either that or they're paid to post idiotic takes. It's one or the other.

This should never be the measuring stick for any supposed conservative. Governments accomplishing something are almost always a bad thing. And your Calvin Coolidge comparison is laughable. He reduced the debt by over one-quarter of its total value. What is Trump's record on that? The only moron here is you.

You're seriously retarded. Who is forcing our government to spend more money than we take in every single year? We spend like drunken sailors and this is your excuse. Jesus you sound just like a chickenshit leftist.

Exactly as I just said. It's the only thing these retards can legitimately gripe about. Meanwhile, every other thing the man does aligns precisely with their so-called principles.

The truth is, these retards don't actually have principles. They're idiots.

You truly are a despicable human being. The national debt is the most serious national security issue we have and your POS response is: "as if we can't spend money." The people years down the line who have to deal with the fallout from our economy collapsing will hopefully blame idiots like you for continuing to accept it.

You’re arguing that not getting anything accomplished is getting something accomplished.

The stupid is so stupid it burns. It's exactly right. Entitlements are an enormous issue and something that is unavoidable with aging demographics. At every turn Trump is trying to cut spending and increase revenue. DOGE cuts, fraud exposure, proposed budget cuts to non-defense related programs, etc. While increasing revenue through tariffs. Yet, at every turn he is stonewalled by the establishment he is working to dismantle. Any honest person knows this too.

The bottom line is that he works to advance YOUR fricking agenda as much as he possibly can and the only thing you can find to bitch about, you bitch about. Because you're a fricking retarded sheep.

What a ridiculous measuring stick.

We actually need less bills passed, not more.

Being a barrier to shitty legislation is an accomplishment.

I am not arguin
BTW, I love to read your posts.

Deficit spending and the run-up of the debt is THE single most important issue facing this country today. We are, literally, sacrificing future generations by saddling the younger's needs for today's wants.

Under 35 males voted for a republican president for the first time in many years. They trusted Trump with their future. That vote is leaving the republican party.

Massie is the most fiscally conservative representative in this country. He appeals to those who recognize the future well being of our younger generation depends on slowing wasteful spending and budget restraints.

who happened to incur the wrath
He incurred the wrath of Trump because he is a TDS-riddled, do nothing, backbench political jackass. In a lead, follow, or get out of the way world, Massie chooses a none of the above approach. He's done nothing productive. Far from leading, he's managed to politically isolate himself instead. He is constantly in the way in a tightly constrained minority.

And that’s all they got. Literally, just those four words.

Well, that's not much, davy.

If you're against irrational spending, for reigning in the surveillance state, against Covid restrictions/mandates - you're not going to have a lot of legislation with your name on it signed into law.

Trump has you people moving leftward at warp speed...

Imagine thinking Massie is doing this for attention, while worshipping the biggest attention whore in the world.

Everyone in government wants Massie out because his policies won’t enrich them. He believes we already have too many laws and he realizes the problem is spending.

What people need to understand is that for every dollar spent by government, around half of it is wasted through fraud, abuse, and kickbacks. And no, I don’t have any stats, figures, or studies to back that number up. I pay attention to what’s going on. Massie practices what he preaches in this regard and his Republican peers do not.

I don’t like the fact that Massie has been parading around with the Democrats. It’s bad optics and for him to associate with them in any way is a huge mistake. To say that he hasn’t accomplished anything by not passing bills is simply not true, though. I would argue that this itself is an accomplishment because the money never goes where it is supposed to go.

Yes we all understand this and are against this but massie is unable to do a damn thing about it.
NOT TO MENTION he freely voted FOR Biden’s massive spending bills. So spare the sanctimonious bullshite

Was not aware of that. If he did vote for anything Biden served up, that would make him a hypocrite and no better than his colleagues.

I’m not being sanctimonious. My point is that the fact that Massie is not “accomplishing” things in Congress doesn’t mean he’s poorly representing his constituents. I would argue the opposite.
