Congress contains two chambers. The Senate is in session. The House was in session for two minutes this morning and then adjourned today at 10:32 in fear of Massie's impeachment motion.
A discharge petition doesn't require the House to be physically sitting when a member signs it. Members can sign the petition administratively even while the chamber is in recess. The signature count is maintained by the House Clerk.

Who knows what's in the 3 million Epstein Files that DOJ has failed to produce? Epstein Files Transparency Act II at least will force the release of MANY more files.
It also will allow MASSIVE discovery in the hundreds of lawsuits headed DOJ's way.

Pretty much without commentary Ed. I take your point about much of the unreleased stuff being "national security."
I think the biggest thing will be the MULTIPLE lawsuits that 2.0 will spawn in D.C. There will be liberal discovery allowed by liberal, Trump-hating judges.

I just don’t understand how every single Republican isn’t breaking down the doors to demand every name be unredacted and arrests and hangings be made. To Trump, he first said he was going to release everything and that he was so transparent. They had BINDERS full of info. Then it became a Democrat hoax. Then it was that Trump was an FBI informant and couldn’t release the info. Then they just stopped talking about it.

Because they are scared shitless about who it will actually reveal. Remember, the Same crowd that is furious about this story still being discussed was the same crowd literally cheering about these files when Trump was running for office. When he told them to not care about them. They listened like lemmings.

I think it's because they are all blackmailed and owned, it's just a matter of what did it. Money, sex, kids, drugs etc.
Corruption is so deep that nobody wants to prosecute any other politicians and/or people of power for fear their own crimes will be revealed.
