You're missing the point. Councelors can report abuse to Protective Services. Under some of these state's laws, their justification for taking the kids are that the parents are refusing "mental care" for their children.
And are therefore negligent, and endangering the child.
And since these states label this shite as "life saving" they are "endangering the life of the child".
So the state is allowed to take custody.
The whole thing about the state continuing the transition process is a big fat load of horse shite provided by hiding in their shite of "life saving care".

And as soon as MA finds your location, they will still get the kids back.
I'd go to prison for my kid. But a case like this, I couldn't fight the fight for him against the state, in a cell.

They waited too long to reestablish residency elsewhere.
I’d still probably take my chances and be on the phone with whatever red state governor would take up the cause and try to get the story on Fox News asap.

Yes.
I thought about exactly that, right after I hit the submit button. And was typing up a second response.
I would also write to plead.my situation to the state AG as well.
But yeah, going as public as possible with it is also a weapon at their disposal.

I think you have to be right. No way a school counsellor did this on his/her own and that decision satisfied even the weakest of "reviews."
What I wonder is what the standard is in a case like this. How many doctors reviewed the case and personally diagnosed. Did a Judge make a determination between competing experts? Etc.
This is the downside to denying parents' religious rights to reject treatment for their children when experts determine it is necessary. Especially today when the medical profession, like everything else, is heavily politicized and ideological.

If they are (one of the WAY TOO FEW) states that have banned Sharia Law as legal defense, then I am betting that some of them would.
That also of course depends on where it happens. Suicidal empathy councelors would ignore it.

You still think the State of Massachusetts tries to transition his hijab wearing underaged daughter behind their backs, then takes custody of her when he resists on religious grounds?
