Don't take this the wrong way, but i won't believe it until it comes to fruition. I actually thought there was a shot Trump would get it in '20 and boy was i wrong.

The early voting numbers in New Mexico dont eally look that positive, they mirror the last cycles... Unless Trump is dominating independents and pulling a decent chunk of registered Democrats, New Mexico seems like a big lift.
But doing 1 rally there certainly can't hurt if internal polling shows you have at least a shot.

Y'all are NM illiterate like most of the country. I've lived in ABQ for decades so I'll clear some crap up... ABQ and Santa Fe is half the state. Whites are slightly less than Hispanics in population with a sizable native population. Maybe a 40-45 whites/40-45 Hispanics/10-15 Natives /5 percent black/other. NM was conquered by Spain before the pilgrims arrived in the 1500s... I have Hispanic friends who's families go back 14 generations in NM and Indian friends that go back thousands of years. Racist whites get chewed up and spit out in ABQ. There is not an illegal problem here, despite what is assumed. Probably because our Hispanics are vastly different than other Latino communities and they would find it hard to get along. Latino cultures are more diverse than Anglo cultures, despite the common language. NM is the only state with two official languages, English y Español. Even ABQ whites take pride in that. NM is a fairly immature state in most things except racial and cultural inclusion. NM is actually very mature in cultural awareness and cohesion. Each of the three main ethnicities keep the other in check. I would guess 4 out of 5 whites here have Hispanic blood and vice versa.
NM was the only western state that anglos were never able to steal away the land from the Hispanics like in AZ, CO, CA, NV, TX, etc. All government documents/courts are in Spanish and Hispanics outnumbered whites so they often kept their lands by simply being aware of what the Europeans were doing. NM has it's own food, culture, and people. Also, cartels actually ignore ABQ (for the most part). There is multi generational cartel control here that wants nothing to do with the big cartels moving into other parts. NM is off limits to them due to this old control. You either go west to Tucson, east to Dallas, or north to Denver. ABQ is left free.
Trump's visit... there's about ten times the chance of Hispanics getting in mass open brawls with rednecks from Clovis, Portales, Cruces, Farmington, etc. during trump's visit than NM flipping red. Trump is come here to excite the race divide, not to win the state. He's trying to start a race war. That's evident to anyone not white or voting for him.
Y'all really have no clue what y'all are talking about when it comes to NM... Just like no other state understands the rich cultural history and differences of Louisiana. Now imagine the LA state constitution and current courts were also in French... imagine how many of our ancestors wouldn't have lost their land from English speaking anglos. Imagine how entrenched Cajun culture would be still to this day.
NM is the oldest region of America. The day the pilgrims landed, there were traders renting hotel rooms in Santa Fe along the biggest trade route in the western hemisphere...
