Manafort has most likely done some illegal shite.
Many members of congress and elected officials have either committed the same crimes or much worse.
Everyone deserves to go down.

Manafort should have been more careful.
If only he had his own server in the basement, met with the AG on a tarmac somewhere, or lost all his E-mails or took the fifth in front of Congress and the whole nation on TV; then nothing could be done.
Dumb SOB.

I get the sense that DC is run like competing motorcycle outlaw gangs though.
When one side hurts the other they both know there must be retribution so they negotiate the payback together so that they all don't go down.

Manafort said release transcripts of his phone calls to and from furriners, hardly the act of a guilty man.

what is the protocol during a dawn raid of the feds if people are sleeping naked? Do they still frisk them?

Gee. If the investigation began before the election, and has continued after the election, even after he is no longer associated with the administration, the odds of this being politically motivated drop considerably.
Was it politically motivated when he wasn't working for the campaign?
Is it politically motivated now that he is no longer associated with the administration?
His association with Trump was rather short lived. What politics exactly motivated this? And across two administrations?
Manafort is one of those dirty guys who has exposed Trump to consequences which Trump may not have had to deal with on his own.

IMHO, if we take the time to honestly review the entire "Whitewater" matter from all of those years ago, there is a credible argument to be made that it was a "politically motivated" process directed at the Clintons.
We should all be honest about this.
