The Mamdani administration on Tuesday unveiled what it describes as New York City's first municipal "Strategy to Combat Antisemitism" - a sweeping plan aimed at preventing antisemitic incidents, protecting Jewish New Yorkers and strengthening Jewish cultural life across the five boroughs.
City officials are calling the strategy a first-of-its-kind roadmap for how New York City will address antisemitism moving forward. The administration said the plan includes investments in prevention, security, education, survivor support and programs designed to celebrate and preserve Jewish life in the city.
The announcement comes as Jewish New Yorkers continue to face a disproportionate share of reported hate crimes in the city, according to the administration.
In a video released alongside the plan, Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Jewish New Yorkers "should feel cherished and celebrated in the most Jewish city in America." He added that city government has "a responsibility to sustain and protect our Jewish neighbors."

Sooo he opens a plan to combat antisemitism. Then uses that as a spring board to actively promote Islam as balance.

Their religion doesn't teach them that they have to fight the Jews NECESSARILY. Nor does it teach them that they have to fight the Christians NECESSARILY. It teaches that they can be aligned with one or the other, but only so long as that other group is not aligned with the third party in the equation.
They can befriend the Jews, so long as the Jews haven't befriended the Christians.
So what we should look at here in regards to his policies is how does he treat Christians within New York.

This is the way I have seen it stated many times. I do not think it is accurate according to their holy book, but this is how many of them seem to believe.
The overall point being, if he seems to be doing the Jews a kindness, look to see what he is simultaneously doing towards the Christians. I don't know what that may be because I don't follow NYC politics, but I'll bet it's something different than this.

Him trying to keep more money from leaving. It was easy to promise a thing. Pretty easy on the budget too.
