People just don't appreciate a great school system like EBR.

Since neither Russian, Christmas, Mickey or yourself has told anyone here where their kids go to school; why should I share personal information?

I believe you guys all have a vested interest in keeping the status quo in EBR because your kids either go to a gifted program, a magnet school, or some other public school where they get preferential treatment. If I'm wrong about that, I'm wrong, but that's the impression I get.

But I will tell you my children aren't failing.

That's the best reason, but I believe Browning and the others in SG are in it for the schools and will do a better job than the people we have now.

But we all know there are no guarantees in this world. Baker branched out and hasn't done well, but Central and Zachary have done better. And we all know there is no way to prove SG would be better because we can't predict the future.

I will say 40 years of failure is more than a trend. It's become a way of life. I voted for EBR School taxes a decade or so again and put my faith in the parish leadership. I've been severely disappointed. I won't make that mistake again.

Honestly, I don't know who my school board member is. I don't go to school board meetings. And I am not going to cheat and google.

And I don't think I'll become more active in the EBR School System. Count me out of that, it would just be a waste of time.

What difference have you made?
Do you think the latest round of scandals is an isolated instance or a pattern of corruption?
