Well now that I know you see my posts, how about commenting on that unicorn listing I provided?
Hermitage is a shithole and the drive during workday traffic is likely to avg 1.5 hours both ways.
Anyway…do you think a 25yo with little savings and bringing home $3300/mo can afford even that place for $325K?

No, I also don't think that's a "starter" house.

Oh…it is FOR SURE a starter house.

Some of you are insufferable.
This. I am now doubting some of the 'bootstrappers' are actually even in the workforce.
I am grateful Trump gave us a few good years and I took full advantage of them. But anyone who didn't or couldn't is currently fricked and the damage increases every day.

The Zoomers can thank cheap money and real estate investment companies for inflated home prices
And trillions in new money being generated out of nothing.

Where is this in the Code? Or are you referring to depreciation?
yea its not specifically in the code, I should have said reduced taxation, but there are enough things in the code that many are able to exploit that advantage enough to have a 0 tax on the income.
its depreciation, rental tax deduction, operating expenses, repairs, mortgage interest, utilities etc. Qualified business income.

And this is their fault how?
Oh that is right, they just need to work harder and pull themselves up the bootstraps, eh? lmaoo.
No need to be a defensive a-hole ….no one said it was their fault….lol!

You can never have enough rounds

I imagine it will play out at the ballot box and GenXers and older Millennials will pay most of the toll.

I’m pretty sure I paid taxes on the revenue of my old commercial rental.
should have said its reduced taxation because of options for deductions
but since you only nit picked 1 (and it was one I shouldve worded differently), i assume you agree on the multiple tax code based advantages that benefit current owners, which artificially locks up the supply and increases demand (as it incentivizes owning) where those advantages did not need to exist and influence the market contributing to the scenario we have today.

So fresh out of school, pretty much? And they want to buy a 400k house? I fail to understand your reasoning as to why any young person, fresh out of college, single, thinks they deserve to own a single family home? Yes, it would be nice, but it's not realistic
They want to buy with yesterday prices using today's more available dollars.
Young people were screwed more than any of us simply because the govt has been over spending for so long. But, the entitlement you hear in the complaints is the real magic and the real reason why the young people will never be able to solve this problem. They think that the government cancelling student debt makes sense. Or, Build Back Better...or New Green Deal.
It never crosses their mind what that does to prices.

Maybe, who doesn’t?
But they would probably TAKE yesterday’s prices with yesterday’s wages…or today’s prices with equally adjusted wages.
In the last decade, the median home price rose roughly 30% and incomes crept up just 11% over the same time period.

And have you experienced corporations buying up all the real estate?
I don't think a lot of people realize this is going on. These companies are coming in with cash offers well over asking price, and first time buyers just can't compete with that. What companies like Blackrock are doing is scary, and it just reeks of following through on Obama's promise to bring the ghetto to the suburbs.

This is kind of a catch 22. That's usually where the good jobs are.
Those jobs aren't as good as you pretend they are. You should have realized that by now.

That’s major civil unrest?
Voting for young socialists and raising taxes on the older generation?
Oh shite.
More rounds it is.

I only owned one unit so I’m pretty sure I didn’t qualify for many advantages.
When I had to repair walls or fix shite tenants broke you don’t think that should be deductible to the business?
