Did you read the next few sentences? Its praise of Trump. It worked. He won, easily. If it worked and he won, it was the right thing to do. Good for him.

He ran from start to finish a brilliant campaign.

The rest was merely an explanation of the rancor at the time.

it doesn't make it right, in fact it was quite stupid and wrong to get so worked up on a message board. I kept my mouth shut on here. I donated to Trump, a lot more than my wife was thrilled about. I went and voted for him.

In 4 years I will go and vote for Vance, and won't be participating in any of the nonsense that will certainly happen on here.

When in doubt, deflect by stating the obvious like it is a profound revelation.

You’re correct. That’s why it’s so important for Trump to get it right.

It's like you guys had never seen what Trump does when he locks in on an opponent. Again, many of you cheered it on in the 2016 primaries.

I didn't like it then either much (and neither did Rush by the way), but it was Jeb and Christie. Both Don Jr and Chris Lacivita counseled Trump to handle Desantis differently. Wiles disagreed, Trump went with Wiles.

And they were right. It worked, his opponent was crushed in politics pretty much forever, he won, and his VP will be the nominee in 2028

You really can't be more right than that. He is one of the better retail politicians of the past 40 years, to be honest. Some of the things he did towards the end of this campaign were very brilliant.

There is no "fixing" this in 4 years regardless of campaign promises.

If no one can fix it in a single term, then hating on Trump is futile. Yet here you are.

Yep. Roger making absolute statements in a thread making fun of his previous absolute statements which were just proven laughably wrong. He isn’t the brightest.

I think Rog is saying Trump supporters will be upset that he's blamed for the economy in real time, not that Trump caused the economic issues.

I have a lot of centrist views but I was raised on Rush, that is not something I am ever going to separate from.

I will still favor conservatives over liberals, but I realize for now, conservatism is dead and might be for a long time. Politics are cyclical, so nothing is dead forever.

There are 3 things you can probably trust Trump on, and those are Foreign Policy, Immigration and the Economy.

He may spend too much but the economy in the short run will probably be pretty damn good because he will reliably take the brakes off of business by deregulating and encouraging American manufacturing.

Get this man a coat.

The only "hate" I have for Trump is his contribution to our current inflation.

But other progressives were involved too.
