Exactly. It’s all about grabbing political points.

Any R’ running around on dem media getting all kinds of accolades from them is a total fraud. The same media that is 100% in the tank for the globalist, is now his biggest ally. He has zero principles.

Quick question who brought 3 republican congressman in to try and get them to cha fe there vote of closure? Once that bill was signed it forced the bill for a vote. Just imagine all those republicans that wouldn’t upset daddy Trump. Then when forced to vote on the bill they all signed. It’s pathetic and it’s even more pathetic to see this board eat this bullshite trump is feeding his little cult. I remember a time when this board called all dems pedo’s. Now the republicans are the protector of the pedos because daddy Trump is friends with all of them.

THIS /\ is the only logical conclusion from all the noise being brought forth now.
Such a sad depravity = these asshats are so focused on more titti-lation than the multitude of real problems that need to be tended to.

Regardless, here are the facts: Trump's DOJ was working on multiple major issues ... immigration, election integrity, Constitutionality of birthright citizenship and a census redo, etc. They were also working on the Epstein case.
When Masshole pulled his discharge petition stunt, it raised a number of red flags, not the least of which was a template for rogue Republicans to team with Democrats, bypass House leadership, and undercut the Administration (Trump45 had been there, done that with idiots like Ryan). Trump correctly viewed the four Republicans who signed (Massie, Boebert, Greene, and Mace) as "handing the keys" to the opposition. He was concerned about the precedent of GOP defections, and so labeled theirs a "hostile act."
The Administration argued its DOJ was already conducting a review of Epstein materials. The House Oversight Committee was already releasing documents. They saw the discharge petition as petty "attention-seeking" which could force a diversion of DOJ resources away from far more important projects. Massie didn't care. This was an opportunity for a perpetual backbencher and attentionwhore to actually get something passed for the first time in his career, literally. He didn't give a rat's arse about impact of his stunt on precedent or on larger legal/Constitutional issues. Dems were overjoyed at his egocentric stupidity.
In addition to diverting DOJ resources, the White House also understood, as did Masshole, that Democrats intended to selectively leak files (such as 2019 emails mentioning Trump) to smear the President. Hence President Trump repeatedly referred to Masshole's stunt as a "Democrat Hoax" and a "distraction" from his administration's successes.
Once the Masshole petition hit 218 signatures, Trump could have let the thing pass narrowly in the House, then shut it down in the Senate. He did not do that though. Instead, he actually pushed Republicans to go ahead and vote "YES" because they had "nothing to hide." So the Epstein bill passed 427-1 in the House, and by unanimous consent in the Senate.
Trump blew the whistle on Epstein 20 years ago. He kicked him out of MAL. He was the singularly most cooperative aide to Virginia Giuffre's against Epstein according to her lawyer. Eventually, Epstein was arrested by Trump's FBI. He is the only POTUS to release anything on Epstein. True to form though, as the DOJ pursues truth in the 2020 election fraud, works through billions in CMS fraud, and counters immigration lawfare, you and sleazy Dems are still trying to smear Trump in the Epstein affair.

your entire post is great - but this summarizes it so well it needs to be taught in future civics and history classes.

Protectors of pedos.
Brilliant what would you consider what has happened from Obama through Biden until these documents started being released?

I felt the same way. But Epstein is one of the issues on why I voted for Trump.

How high up on your priority list was it?
It was not even on my list.

Not as scared as you are of getting anal cancer from your incessant buttbuggery.

I bet the “priority list” was revised after Trump was elected. I can’t quite figure out why folks who say they voted for Trump try so damn hard to pin losses and problems on him, and more so than assessing anyone or anything else, Democrats included.

If you like Massie then he is clearly not on our side. So buh-bye don’t let the door hit ya.
