The OP doesn’t even hit on a lot of it. MAGA hasn’t gained any voters. JD needs to get some ground work going. Him and, as much as I hate to say it, Rubio. Time to start forming the message. They’re not gaining anyone and likely losing people.

I would encourage you to read the latter half of the post that touches on why “charity” is an inaccurate characterization of NATO.
The short of it is that we benefit from having US military presence in Europe, and we would not reduce our defense spending by leaving NATO (likely the opposite tbh) because NATO is not the reason we choose to outspend the rest of the world on defense (nominally btw. We don’t even spend the most in NATO % wise).

Canada, Greenland, all of the non problematic European states / UK… so basically nearly everyone in the world who isn’t either an explicit enemy or Israel.
We left everyone hanging on JCPOA, we fricked around with on again off again tariffs + they are making closer trade ties with China and each other as a direct result + we just unilaterally started a war & chastised everyone in NATO for not joining.
This really didn’t seem like it needed to be explained.
