Thats the million dollar question.

I dont think the GOP can win without Trump. And given yesterday it seems like they cannot win with him either.

If the GOP isnt an anti-establishment insurgent party then they are at their best as process conservatives and good government types. That has not been a winning formula for a generation or two - i am thinking since Gingrich.

Maybe someone can bring it back but I am not holding my breath.
