Oh no this only a black thing guys. The fuking idea that white men don’t feel uncomfortable when a cop car passes by or when they are addressed by police officers is pure bull shite. The idea that it is simply a black thing, pure bull shite. You can kneel on that.

Look at how often cops getting away with killing people in cold blood and it's no wonder their first instinct in these situations is to kill. When there's no criminal punishment or retribution for even the most egregious of acts, why would one act otherwise? I mean if Michael Slager couldn't be convicted of murdering Walter Scott with a clear videotape of the shooting, when will it ever happen?

Not saying it didn't happen like that, but sounds like we may be missing some key parts to the story

I seriously doubt it.

This is just a typical story of a cop being a cop.

Dude on a power trip who just felt like killing someone and hid behind the badge to do it.

And people like you who keep making excuses let them get away with it.

I would have never pulled over for someone that didnt have his lights on. I would call the police station and keep driving.

He didn't pull over for someone.

They had returned to where he had dropped the stick he had been swinging while they were driving around.

It's all #bluelivesmatter around here until a white guy gets shot, now we finally have an admitted "policing problem"

White people are shot and killed by the police all the time. Nobody cares and it gets no media attention.

Have any of the people who say this ever been tased? You don't just "stop moving" while you're being tased or even immediately after.

Thats funny because when I was tased I couldn't move at all and once it stopped I followed commands and didn't move.

Once the cycle stops you have full control of your body.

I'm not going to comply and stop moving if I get seemingly randomly tazed from someone who isn't indentifying themselves as an officer.

As matter a fact, I probably would start to try to defend myself.

Oh fricking please.

I've watched videos where they tase the guy......yell stop moving........and tase them again inside of 5 seconds......while yelling stop moving.

They basically use the physical reaction to being tased to justify tasing again.

It's absurd

I agree if you just randomly get tased the likely hood of you listening is probably out the window. I was referring to his dumbass generalization about getting tased and flopping around like the movies.

It could be exactly this or the exact opposite. You have no way of knowing. I guess you should take to the streets if you feel so strong about your stance. Word of advice, it's gonna be hot outside. Be sure you properly hydrate.

If there is a good connection the taser completely locks up your body and you really can't move. The guys who get tased again are the ones who keep thrashing around and not listening to commands to stop.

If there's not more to the story, this cop needs to be in prison on death row. Period.

He won’t be. Even if the story is exactly like the wife told it, he has a 99% chance of walking away scot free.

You probably are one of those who thinks if a guy can talk, he can breathe.

This is the problem with lowering the hiring standards for cops. I have seen reports that people have been turned down because their IQ was too high. The state wants cops to be dumb as dirt so they do exactly what they are told or psychopaths that have no problem murdering unarmed civilians. Like the cop that sprayed pepper spray into peaceful protestors sitting down or the cop that murdered the young guy complying and lying down in the hallway of the hotel. These are the type of people that will do the bidding of the state without question.

It will take some monumental shifts in public opinion.

Yet we really dont know what happened.

We have a statement form a biased witness may or may not be accurate.

Until more info is released its silly to pick sides.

But I will say this. One of the fricking dumbest things I've repeatedly seen and heard people/cops say is shite like, "if he would have just listened" or "if he would have stopped moving"..........Now, yes. I agree with that theory.............but they often say it about someone who has been or is being tazed.
Obviously it's even more ridiculous in an instance where a person was tazed, but I think it's pretty ridiculous overall that any movement is so often interpreted as a life and death movement given how many conditions would need to be met for that to be rational and would require:

Means
A person would need to have a gun, have it on him, have it hidden, and not tell the officer about this hidden gun. Very few people would even meet that condition in the first place, which makes the rest moot, but they would also need:

Motive
Of those that have the means, they would also have to be willingness to murder a police officer, and find that option to be worth the consequences including a likely death or serious injury and somehow not have done it earlier at a more advantageous time. Now we're talking the most evil, desperate, and flat out dumbest group of people alive. A person may be evil and want to kill a cop, but still not desperate and dumb enough to actually do it knowing the consequences. So that leaves us with on last set of conditions:

Ability
So it's not just enough to have a hidden gun, and be evil, stupid, and desperate enough to use it, with a gun aimed at oneself. A person has to also be able to draw the gun quickly, then be able to accurately shoot the gun, and hit a cop in a location that is not protected. So basically someone dumb and desperate has to also be conveniently an expert marksman and in a calm enough state to use that marksmanship.

So basically, in order for the officer's life to be truly at risk for that movement, they have to meet such a ridiculous set of conditions, many of which are contradictory (dumb and desperate, yet a calm expert marksman).

So yeah, let's assume they are meeting all of those conditions, and not making a movement for any number of infinity reasons a person may move as a living species who moves.
