Madison County, MS sheriff's deputy shoots and kills man UPDATE PAGE 9 - Self defense

Amanda and her husband of 10 years, Michael Renfroe, were driving home from a camping trip on Old Natchez Trace Road, when she said they decided to turn around...a decision that will haunt Amanda for the rest of her life.
According to Amanda, a deputy then pulled behind the truck without his lights on.
"They told him to stop and he didn't know who it was because they didn't have any blue lights on so he kept walking to get this stuff," she said.
According to Amanda, that's when the cop tased her husband.
"He fell and hit the ground and that's when I jumped out of the truck because I heard him holler," she said.
She says her husband tried to turn over to get off of his stomach where he had been tased.
"He flipped over into the grass and that's when the cop seen him move and shot him in the side of his stomach."
Her husband then fell back, she added.
"And the cop shot him in his solar flex and shot him in the other side of his stomach."
According to Amanda, it all happened so fast, in about 45 seconds.

Cops not allowed an insensitive tweet or Facebook post but they can murder at will.

I offered the OP without comment, but I will add something here.
I live in Madison. For those who don't know, this is the rare wealthy/upper middle class area of Mississippi. If this would have been a black guy, we'd already be on the national news. The same sheriff's department is being sued for setting up road blocks that some people have said are set to catch blacks only.
It seems that the guy just don't comply, but if the deputy did not have his lights on or identify himself as the wife says, that's a problem.
I don't like that my local sheriff's department is not responding. Hopefully the full story will come out in the next couple of days.

Strange story and horrible story. Obviously police force is a little out of control but that said you dont shoot someone unless you think your life is in danger. With reports of an armed robber in the area I could see them being a little jumpy.
