The only factors Obamacare lets the insurer consider are age and whether you’re a smoker. Sorry - If you’re a 61 yo female you don’t need a maternity policy. But you do have to have a colonoscopy. The risk of that is factored into the rate, which is higher than that of a woman in her childbearing years. Why can’t her risk of needing a hospital delivery be considered as well?
Obamacare is a scam that could have been avoided by simply increasing the income levels required for Medicaid. In the end - it’s the same fricking thing and Medicaid was cheaper and already included in my tax bill.
Now I pay Blue Cross for my own health insurance, my secretary’s health insurance and so Blue Cross can make a forced donation to the Democrats so they can use their own fricked up law to bribe randos I’ll never meet and they can continue to get the government to subsidize them too.

It was designed to usher in single payer. However, they fricked it up so bad at launch that failed before it could get enough participants.
Like a virus, it was too potent at outset, and killed all of the hosts too quickly, not allowing it to spread overtime.

Yes.
It was completely dependent on the penalty or every young person paying a massive healthcare premium they didn’t want. This isn’t Norway or Japan. For universal healthcare to be fully solvent, you need a full society of highly productive, high IQ citizens. It will never work here, especially with open borders.
