I watch this national shite...and some states are completely stupid. Glad I live in a red state that usually does the right thing. We can't control what happens in AZ or GA, but it still pisses us off. We have a democratic governor, which is odd....but he's not as bad as some. My question is...with tons of people who are decent people who we could elect as governor, why does the republican party here in LA continue to put up terrible candidates? I went to a Trump rally, and I listened to Eddie Rispone talk, and all I could think was, "Are you friggin serious??? This is the best we could put up????) And I don't mean any disrespect to Rispone....but he did not come off as the "Best of us". Why can't we put up a logical, smart, good person as gubinetorial candidate? Seems if the Republicans put up a decent person, he'd be a shoe in. Politics in this state are completely fricked up........

With Cassidy and JBE, I'd say not so red.

In LA, the parties don’t really “put anyone up”.

Every candidate makes the choice whether to enter the race or not, and then the top two go to the runoff if none get 50%

"JBE isn't that bad and Eddie Rispone talks funny. "

This is the kind of thinking that gave us Governor mongoloid Sloth.

I think we're gonna do the right thing this time around. Democrats are probably gonna trot out Perkins or Gravy. Repubs will counter with Graves or Kennedy. Game over.

We will be the next Georgia once the Democrats and Dominion decide to target Orleans, EBR, and Caddo.

Didn't some fishy happen in every Edwin Edwards election?

I’m not so sure Orleans didn’t do some ballot harvesting for the governors election. All lates votes out of Orleans won it for JBE.

Dr. Abraham should be Governor right now, South Louisana wouldn't accept a north Louisiana guy. No disrespect to Mr. Risponi & I'm sure he's a nice guy, but Dr. Abraham would have crushed it as Governor.

New Orleans cheated their butts off to give Edwards the win.

NOLA is always the last to report in the state so they know exactly how many votes they need to manufacture.

Nola should be made to report no later than half of the other parishes.

Depends if you believe, know just how corrupt N.O. was then.

Edwards dominated s. La, specifically N.O. Cajuns outside of N.O. loved him. He spoke their language, partied hard, and thumb his nose at the Feds. They loved him for it.

Kinda weird how this state is pretty much a North La. vs. S. La. in elections, but governors tend to lean liberal, senators lean conservative, unless the Senate candidate is from corrupt N.O. like Ms. Piggy.

JBE fooled/conned lots of people in BR area on top of taking N.O. S. La. won it for JBE.

I'll never understand just how liberal/dumb romanists can be.

Yep. They counted late into the night and miraculously found the 40k "votes" needed for JBE to overtake Rispone. Everybody went to bed with a nice Rispone lead and then the Orleans Parish machine really went into overdrive to push Edwards over the top.

Unfortunately, we aren't a whole lot better than AZ and GA presently when it comes to election security and integrity of results. Also don't forget that Dominion machines are already here in the state system and no telling what algorithms could be put into play with their network and software if a toss-up race is close enough and important enough to swing.

Not disagreeing with you, but Edwards also won Jefferson parish. That’s usually a reliable Republican parish. That says a lot about the fake Republicans in JP.
