Y'all have to spread the word to your friends and family against Cassidy. What he's counting on is that his impeachment vote will have been 6 years ago and that you'll just forget it. That he'll win the primary because he's the name you know and you'll just blindly vote for familiarity.
And frankly, he's probably right. A lot of people will just blindly vote for him because he's their Senator running for reelection. I don't think it's a given that he's going to get primaried for his impeachment vote. So y'all campaign against him. Remind your friends.

I definitely like Fleming better than Cassidy, but he’s already 73 years old himself.
He’ll turn 75 in 2027, the year he’d take office, and turn 81 during the last year of his first term. Really hope someone else like him can step up and he just serves the one term. We don’t need anymore people “serving” in DC on the back half of their 80s. It’s already ridiculous.

Cassidy not only voted to impeach Trump, he also was one of seven Republican senators to vote to CONVICT Trump of inciting an insurrection. What a complete piece of shite! He has got to go.

Might still get Edwards. Edwards gets in the runoff the coonarses will vote for him over Fleming or any other candidate from North Louisiana. Just ask Ralph Abraham. Its been 36 years since we've had a Governor from North Louisiana.

Garret Graves doesn’t have the balls to challenge Cassidy. They live in the same hometown and they are basically on the same team, although Graves is slightly more palatable and I wish he had run for mayor of BRLA as he pondered his next move.
