Scalise if he runs.

If not, Rispone.

I think Kennedy is a pussy

I'd prefer Kennedy. Still, I like him as our U.S. Senator. His metaphors and euphemisms mixes are common in his speaking with the public or it seems more so with the media. They communicate. More than that I think he's a strong voice in Washington as demonstrated in the Kavanaugh hearings.

So it would probably be Rispone.

Scalise is not running but will run in 2023.

Also see Kennedy staying put but im less sure of that than I am of Scalise not running, but Abraham jumping in regardless seems to be more and more likely. If Abraham jumps in before Kennedy gets to announce think Kennedy stays put.

Really wish the GOP would talk before going down this road it is only setting up a no win situation going down this path again. Go with a max two candidates and run a clean primary not petty attacking campaigns and come together after the jungle and take back the governors mansion.

Has the stink of Jindal diminished enough that one Republican or another is a sure bet?

Eddie Rispone. I think he would govern LA like Trump governs America.

Would you Republicans consider voting for Gov. Edwards?

Clearly, the last Republican Governor was a disaster. Surely you would not want a repeat of that, would you?

That's what you and I might want but I promise you the crooks in power want to use a Constitutional convention to make it easier, not harder to raise taxes and spending. The to make it harder, not easier to stop

So basically you want to keep the status quo because everything is doing so well . Gotta love that ole Louisiana mindset of that you can't risk that the crooks might get you if you do something radically different.....your attitude plays right into the crooks' hands, they expect your fear.

At some point they will have to raise taxes. Have you seen the infrastructure? I know it was a huge reason in my decision to leave.

Is JBE (and his wife) going to the Swiss Alps on his next vacation....errr..I mean, economic mission. Possibly trying to energize the snow skiing industry in Louisiana this time.

I hope not, although he would be a fine Governor.

But he would better serve Louisiana where he is. It is just a matter of time before the Republicans regain the majority in Congress, and when that happens, he likely will become Speaker of the House.

It would be great for our state to have a Speaker from Louisiana. The impact Scalise could have as Speaker is far greater than him merely being Governor.

He’s a uber successful businessman. And an overall decent person. A unicorn it seems.

In all seriousness, Rispone is the real deal.

I think Rispone should follow the example of Reagan and Mike Foster. I think he should first serve as a State Senator or some other position before trying to become the top elected official in state government.

Congressman in North La. Here is a 5 minute video of him. Saw it on a local commercial. He would likely have my vote if he ran.
