Why do candidates put (I) in front of their names?

Has there ever been an (I) that voted with conservatives?

Has there ever been an (I) that didn't side with democrats in every issue that ever mattered in the history of issues mattering?

Are there people in existence that actually believe that (I) stands for independant?

I am uninspired by that list. As usual. It’s almost as if we are the least red Red State ever.

I believe Nelson would do a good job but it doesn't look like he has a chance.

Its not the northerners, its Republican infighting. Same thing we see going on at the national level happens here too.

Wtf are you talking about idiot ?

South LA is way more heavy Dem and they threw away one of the better gop candidates LA has had in Abraham just because he was from North LA

All Louisianians need to be proud of AG Jeff Landry for being a partner with Missouri AG in filing the recent federal suit against the Biden Administration for depriving Americans of freedom of speech....

which Honorable US Federal Judge Doughty ,a LSU law graduate, signed granting a preliminaru injunction prohibiting the Biden Administration from colluding with Big Tech, social media in depriving Americans of their freedom of speech.

Vote for anti-Biden patriot Jeff Landry for governor if you still want to enjoy Louisiana without interference from woke D.C..

Disagree, NOLA is a consistent blue bloc that will always vote for failure. They are predictable.

North LA will let their BS Baptist sensibilities and desire to be treated as a major population center make them vote in odd patterns. They claim to be red but there are too many rural Democrat cross overs in that bunch. Farmers that are in love with federal subsidies but preach small government. If their feelings get hurt, they vote like suburban white women.

I agree that it’s not a “North LA” issue. But that map doesn’t reflect voter turnout, which IS the real issue.

State elections in Louisiana have absolutely abysmal turnout rates. If people just simply voted, JBE would never have been governor.

Landry is gonna win the governors race by “dunking on Biden” when that should be least of our worries

Very sad reality. And there are plenty of posters here who legitimately believe Landry is the best candidate because he’s “America First”
