according to Dr. David Holcombe of Office of Public Health. They are actually discussing it.
Now this would cause a “peaceful protest”

Elections have consequences.
The Abraham voters and Karens in the suburbs should've gone with the legit conservative Eddie Rispone over the tax and spend ambulance chaser John Bel Edwards who pretends to be a blue dog when its convenient at election time.

There’s a bunch of “Louisiana moving backwards” jokes to be made.

They can try to but that genie isn’t going back in the bottle.

These shut downs won't end until the economy is completely destroyed

JBE would have to relocate if he did that

I am convinced they don’t understand stats. Everything he said was bullshite. Louisiana numbers were down markedly

Not sure if it is stupidity or malice but they don’t intend to open up until they either get a bailout or Biden.

Expecting the same idiocy in NC.

this sounds like a "cancel LSU football" threat

I will not be shocked when he has public schools partially closed this fall.

LSU Football is doing enough on their own to cause that.

agreed....out of the 9 districts arent 3 of them the only ones showing increases in hospitalization and the others are on decline or plateau....like ive said before i dont care about the people that get it...the deaths and hospitalization numbers should be the only numbers to base anything off of

There is no data-driven decision making that can justify that call.
But ahhh we know that these decisions aren't data driven....they are politically driven. I'd say the step to go back will almost surely happen.
The legislature threatened to stop Edward's EO before....if we go backwards they better grow a set and actually do it....although I'd be shocked if they did.
