sigh.

This is the age of 'this is the best we can do' and it's not going to lead to good things.

Is this a joke?

quote:

LaToya Cantrell The current mayor of New Orleans, Cantrell would be, to many, a longshot candidate in 2023. But with a Joe Biden win in this fall's Presidential race and the direction of the country moving sharply left, the liberal Cantrell could find herself in the right position at the right time. I don't know, but it's definitely a very "Louisiana" thing to do. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if she ran...and won.

People shite on Landry because they think he is to much of a politician, but forget that everyone else is to much of a politician. I was not forced to take the COVID vaccine at work thanks to him fighting the mandate.

I really don't like Jeff Landry BUT he's staunchly conservative and from a policy standpoint, he'd probably be a fantastic governor for this state.

I think people have issues with Landry primarily b/c of a lack of intelligence, which comes out with his politicking.

It's the same with Clay Higgins, who may be dumber than Hank Johnson or Sheila Jackson Lee, but who "says the right things".

I like Jeff
He may not be the best but he's the best in the field of gov.
He comes from a good family and background...as I grew up in the same hometown and went to school with his younger brother

What are the better options out there currently??

Landry has been the only prominent foil to Governor honor code the last 4 years. Even with a super majority, conservatives that stood up to JBE are few and far between. He should get your vote solely for that reason.

I mean Latoya Cantrell is a long shot candidate. Think about that.
