Shooters??

I have my mass shootings mixed up. I'm talking about the crazy bastard in court with the orange hair. Thought he was Aurora and acted alone?

What the hell is "near full auto".

Choosing my words for the gun nerd who jump to correct me if I said full auto.

"A bump stock rate of fire is xyz and a full auto in the same platform is abc"

That is why I said "near full auto".

So.

It would appear there is some common ground re: crazy people and guns.

Let's talk process. How is it proposed to be executed by the govt?

But most importantly, what are the thresholds?

Is it easier to buy marijuana in Louisiana or Colorado?

Living in Louisiana, I could walk out to the end of my driveway and buy some from a passerby, can't say the same of my parents house in Colorado. It's not hard to get in LA.

Huh? They don’t even come close. Anyone motivated can easily evade them. You ever try to find someone a mile assay in the woods because you “hear some shooting”? Good grief. Have you ever been in the woods, at all?

I know they can't catch everything but they do catch a lot. Otherwise they'd not be out there.

What makes you that that wouldnt happen now?

Autocorrect is confusing me here? I don't know how good range owners and range masters would be at reporting this.

I kinda like having my 30 round mags. I can absolutely think of a potential use for it although I hope to never have to use it.

Any my argument simply is your desire to have a 30 round mag doesn't outweigh the danger they pose to the public.

Maybe they should ban hi capacity assault marijuana in LA then you wouldn't be getting the Devil's lettuce so easily.

Let's do an experiment. Go to the end of your driveway and start stopping cars and asking to buy weed from them and see what you get first, weed or a visit from law enforcement.

The answer to my question is obvious.

the danger to the public of those mags is infinitesimal. Like slightly more dangerous than all these vaccines that cause autism.

My views on gun control are a two part solution or restriction. I think guns should be allowed or permitted by the same laws currently, under no circumstance though should AR 15 or anything of that caliber and speed should be allowed. Read this article with a level head and what's the opinion. I'm also a trauma surgeon so I think I speak with some knowledge of the situation.

Why? Why is one dozen not enough?

Then what is their purpose? You can pull a trigger that fast? I bet you can't diddle your old lady's "lady bean" that fast. She'd love you forever.

It's rate of fire is much faster than semi auto but less than full auto.

Having anyone on the left, especially those with zero knowledge of firearms, propose gun control regulation is scarier than an open society of no gun regulation.

Case in point - Hillary Clinton tweeting about silencers as if a silencer is like those in a James Bond movie.

Its scary that she could be the one in charge right now.

What was their thinking? What documents did you base this on?

I think you are sorta right but say you are 100% right. A high capacity magazine is going to do jack shite against a gov't force that has tanks and Apache helicopters.

Oh. My argument is ABSOLUTELY around the "danger they present to the public".

Hell. We've been lucky. Our society hasn't broken down and even then, we have had more than one time where mobs of people overwhelmed the ability of the police to deal with them.

I want more than 10 rounds in my magazine if I'm ever on the other side of that. And, I really don't give a frick if you think me defending me and mine outweighs your ideology.

Police can't be everywhere. And, there's nothing etched in mystical stone that says the U.S. is immune from having societal breakdown.
