I try to separate the kids from the father because I think the kids are stuck. People (media) need to quit giving him a pass on parenting and start to criticize him for it. He’s had a negative affect on all 3 of his kids at the most important times of their lives.

Watching the replay I thought it was a spinal cord compression. Just based on how he reached for his lower back immediately and had numbness in his legs. It’s probably the best case scenario considering what happened, but would require immediate surgery. It does worry me that we haven’t heard an update and it’s been over 2 hours.

I don't know the impact on single murders but my thoughts were on mass murders. If Stephen paddock owned I don't know how many semi automatic weapons and had to register them yearly or whatever timetable. Would red flags be raised when he purchases ammonium nitrate to possibly make a bomb? It's just a thought.

California every October. They send me what I owe on what so that's why I asked how it would work on guns.

Would this be a possible solution to deter a situation like Vegas. What would be people's opinion on registering their gun every year or two year like you do personal property? Not saying there would be a tax maybe it goes to conservation. Just a way of keeping track of what you own. How would it work?

I posted on this board to state an opinion and to listen to others opinions. I don't agree with some politically and agree with others but I think if you listen to just your side and nothing else you don't learn anything new or see others views. I could go talk to Florida or Falcons fans but I don't learn as much...

What's the point of hollow point bullets? I'm asking as I don't know don't take it as sarcasm. We have surgeons conferences across the us some open to the public. I would like to know more about guns and different types of bullets as I think it would help. i don't think guns are bad I'm just trying to learn.

Did you read the article? Never said I was a gun expert at all, but from my experience and stats the survival rate or damage between being shot by an AR 15 or anything in that class and handguns aren't comparable.

My views on gun control are a two part solution or restriction. I think guns should be allowed or permitted by the same laws currently, under no circumstance though should AR 15 or anything of that caliber and speed should be allowed. Read this article with a level head and what's the opinion. I'm also a trauma surgeon so I think I speak with some knowledge of the situation.
