Bitch needs to serve time- being cute and an actress is not a defense! She thought she was too good even for a plea deal so I hope she sits for years in jail!

I get the criminal component...but maybe someone can explain this to me...why in the hell did Aunt Becky et al decide to go this route? I mean, if she called the Dean at USC and said "I wanna donate $150K to the school"...they'd have a frickin' parade for her on campus and put her name on a building somewhere. And of course the dean would make an opening for all the little Aunt Becky's, right? Seems to me they spent more to do this illegally...what am I missing?

I hate the feds

If she did all of these crimes, she should have been charged with them from the get go.

This isn’t new evidence. This is the “plead guilty or we will keep adding more and more charges”

frick that. These prosecutors are scum. This should be illegal

I get the sentiment but it’s a waste of resources. Moreover, incarceration is traumatic and I think society needs to really reflect on who should be placed in that situation. This woman is entitled but her actions aren’t evil, just self-serving. Confine her to home, have her pay for the monitoring. After 6 months or a year, allow her to leave only for approved community service work (real work, not motivational/mea culpa speaking). Fine her and use the money to build a playground for a nearby low income neighborhood.

Exactly. Fed prosecutors are low lifes.

Besides the fact this broad, and the others, paid bribes to get into a private school.

When the feds put the Swamp under the jail for Billion dollar bribe schemes (committed in broad daylight), maybe I can get myself to feel indignant about these pissant cases they're bringing.

Any of y'all ever been close enough to an FBI investigation to know how it goes? If you don't play their game, they will find some way to destroy you, your friends, and your family. It's a corrupt organization from top to bottom.

I would hate it to, if she had her influence to condemn the wrongful use of the term white privilege. These Hollywood types are such shameless hypocrites, who care nothing about anything other than money, fame, applause, and virtue shaming those with whom they disagree. She hasn't learned nothing but how to be more careful with her wealth and fame in the future.

Bitch...you should have done the smart thing and taken a plea deal. They would have gone light on you like they did the other chick involved in this shite. Instead you publicly paraded around like a peacock, playing the celebrity card, and dared the prosecutors to do their worst. Guess what...they're probably going to do just that.

It would have been different to pull this stunt if they lacked any concrete evidence. But the fact that you sneered at them while they had solid evidence of what you did? Yeah, you're a dumb arse.

Attorneys, but they rarely prosecute public cases like this unless they're airtight.

They learned a lot from prosecuting John Gotti and Edwin Edwards.

The one question no one has asked yet - what would Eric Holder have done?

Money laundering, mail fraud, and bribery shouldn't be crimes?
the feds don't care one iota about 99% of all money laundering they know about.

mail fraud? give me a break. mail fraud is a joke of a crime that only exists so the feds have a way to get people they can't otherwise get

bribery? The only real issue here, but are the feds going after the coaches and other school officials also? Also, the only reasons this is a case is bc of the publicity it received and the raises the prosecutors can get. They knew about this for a long time and did nothing about it. Reckon why that is?

When will Harvard start rescinding the degrees of that filthy Kennedy bunch?

They have been buying and cheating their way through Harvard for generations.

No shite the feds are ruthless psychopath assholes that has no qualms about being unfair, vindictive and cruel. That’s how and why nobody wants to frick with the feds and do everything they can to avoid contact and legal entanglements with them and often take the path of least resistance when contact does happen.

The United States Department of Justice is basically Batman, Daredevil and Punisher rolled up into one.

exactly, all of these people could have shelled out some bucks to some pet project of the respective university president and accomplished the same thing totally legally....

Lori can go from full house to big house.

Her daughter being expelled will give her more time to devote her career in the oldest profession. She already has some experience from yacht whoring with the USC board of trustees chairman (what a shameless guy, he probably has daughters her age) and will certainly end up landing on her feet (knees).
