It definitely involved his kids and he’s even on the wiretap as Spouse discussing daughter #2 with the mastermind Singer. No idea why he wasn’t charged.

Not that it matters. I wish colleges could do away with all preferences, even the "legal" ones. Children of the rich and powerful don't usually have to even resort to this. Anybody think W w got into Yale on his own merit?
But it's also time to do away with affirmative action and quotas. Perhaps needed at one time, but not now.

IDK. I think this is more along the lines of depression era chili. People will read stories like this and wonder just what they hell they are spending all that money on. Kids will see it and think the same thing. Hopefully this spells the end of college as the end all be all of success for people. There are so many ways to make money in this country and college is but one path.

Again, not that you are wrong because you aren’t, but you are missing the larger point. This is about THEIR kids gaining admission via elite CREDENTIALISM to the most elite American Institutions. It’s not about your kid being successful starting a plumbing supply company in Moline. It’s about buying their kid a seat at the table with The Ruling Class.
