It's also a great example of how absolutely useless a college degree is these days. It's a status symbol. It's something pursued largely out of vanity.
These kids come from households worth hundreds of millions of dollars and their parents are spending millions to get them a fake piece of paper that says they went to SPECIFIC SCHOOL.
Colleges and universities are no longer about education, especially the so called "elite" universities. They are just cliques.

Precisely. There is a Hollywood Club and there is a High Tech Club and there is a Social Media Club and there is an Ivy League Club and there is a Hedge Fund Club, etc. All of these deny entrance to anybody without credentials. ONLY certified Progressives get these credentials.
This is about coastal elites from these worlds ensuring their children gain entrance to "The Club" at the expense of normal Americans who have FAR greater merit.
I think you can call this club some variation of The Obama Clinton Progressive Club-in that in direct proportion to how eagerly you support the same ideas and pet projects they support, you and yours are likely to gain entrance to this world. One cannot thrive in this world they have created and dissent from their values.
This is about coastal elites from these worlds ensuring their children gain entrance to "The Club" at the expense of normal Americans who have FAR greater merit.

This is going to come down to violence eventually. An entrenched aristocracy now lectures the "peons" they loathe about virtue while existing as hypocrites.
All that needs to happen is a flash point. A galvanizing story that exemplifies the absurd reality to a point even the 70 IQ celebrity worshippers can understand.
My bet is exposure of the amount of pedos at the upper echelon will do just that.

You guys are only half right here. Sure it allows vapid Progstained parents to brag about Ashton and Puff. But what it REALLY does is provide CREDENTIALS for Ashton and PUFF to join and perpetuate The American Ruling Class. It's the New American Aristocracy, and it's an almost exclusively Progressive endeavor.
