Think of the drone as an investment into the acceptance (eta: by all other players watching) of the actions Trump will take when they attack again. No one will be able to say Trump acted rashly after they hit the drone. But no one will be able to fault him when he takes action after their next attack against American assets.

It is probably inevitable that we're going to have to wax Iran's collective arse ... a foregone conclusion if you will.
It's been coming since 1979.
Too bad too but it's probably just about time. Only Trump can save them from their leadership now. Honestly, only Trump is their last hope ... it could go either way.
We really should have taken them down in '79 imho. Had they not released the hostages during Reagan's inauguration they would have been taken down.
We've let them survive unscathed for far too long now. We need to put a blistering on them the likes of which will shock them back into reality.
I'm against most overseas military actions and I served for a long time ... but Iran has it coming. They've been asking for it and, unless they wake up soon, they've got it coming.
Perhaps Trump can save them ... I dunno though. They seem to be glutton for punishment.
