Laura Loomer is suing Bill Maher after he claimed she was in an 'arranged relationship' with Donald Trump.

The 31-year-old conservative commentator is going after the comedian, 68, and HBO for defamation over the comments he made on his show 'Real Time with Bill Maher'.

Attorney Larry Klayman claims Loomer has been directly 'affected, victimized, and severely damaged' and is seeking $150million.

Maher made the comments on his show in early September, saying: 'I think maybe Laura Loomer's in an arranged relationship to influence the election because she's very close to Trump.

'She's 31, looks like his type... Who's Trump f******? Because I said, it's not nobody. He's been a dog for too long.

'And it's not Melania. I think we may have our answer this week. I think it might be Laura Loomer.'

The suit alleges that the remarks 'falsely and maliciously accused Ms. Loomer of having committed adultery with Donald Trump'.

It adds: 'Ms. Loomer has never engaged in sexual relations with President Donald Trump. Defendant Maher had no basis in fact to make this statement.

'He simply fabricated it for attention, notoriety, 'clicks' and profit for himself and Defendant HBO, his employer.'

The suit also says that Maher and HBO had failed to 'conduct due diligence and investigation of the real facts'.

It adds that Maher had been made aware of the lawsuit being filed but 'retaliated and compounded the damage to Loomer' with another segment on his show.

That segment, tiled 24 Things You Don't Know About Laura Loomer', 'continues to make false, disparaging statements about Ms. Loomer'.

The filing also adds that Loomer had requested a public apology and that she be invited on the show to 'mitigate prior and any further damage'.

It is said that the 'the defendants arrogantly refused, underscoring the malicious intention to harm Loomer'.

The complaint also claims that 'anti-Trump' lawyers for Maher and HBO 'viciously and callously' threatened Loomer.

Loomer has asked for damages in excess of $150 million and demanded a jury trial in the case.
