Now JBE just hit me up. Cleo bringing out the big guns.

I really, really hope that I am wrong, but I cannot imagine Cleo Fields losing this election. If I were in this district there is no doubt that I would be an enthusiastic supporter of Guillory, but when one combines the large share of black votes for Fields with the votes of white liberals, I expect CF to win by 15-20 points. Like I said, I hope against hope that I am wrong.

The ghost of Joseph Cao rides again.

Does anyone know who Elbert supported for Governor?
I thought I saw somewhere that he backed Landry, but who knows if he'll get any help from the Governor, who also made some promises to Cleo Fields.

It will be an interesting race. Guillory is a known figure from the heart of the district. Cleo is a known professional grifter from the far corner of the district in BR. Rural Black voters don't like BR. It should make it closer than expected.
Either way we all lose.

Isn't he the Republican candidate for Mayor of Baton Rouge?
WTF is he doing?

Betting on the likely winner who will be able to steer federal money to his jurisdiction.

Landry purposely got Graves re-districted out because Graves wouldn't kiss his ring.
Maybe there is something else that could be considered here...could it be that Graves voted against Scalise and Johnson (both Louisiana Congressman) for Speaker of the House.

Why did Hillar Moore just ask me to vote for Cleo?
Because, like Hillar, Cleo is a criminal coddling piece of shite

Disappointed if that’s true about Sid. He’s the only local dude worth a shite in EBR.

Graves also sided with the uniparty and GOPe over America First GOP patriots in Congress, and tried to sabotage two fellow Louisianans from getting the Speaker position... He was only successful in sabotaging one of them. Graves is also a never-Trumper fig. He and his wife will vote for Kamala. F him.

I voted for him and so did my entire family. He's the only R on the ballot and I sure as hell ain't voting for Cleo.

The way people on here talk about Johnson and Scalise lately, you'd think that would have made them happy.

There is absolutely some truth to that, but at the time of the redistricting, I'm not sure that was the sentiment...just a thought.
I believe Gov. Landry is a Louisiana first guy and that is a good thing...
