Still waiting Rex. Since he is a puppet, there must be countless ways he has aided Putin in the last year. Please list them and once again, please list the policies put in place by Obama and Hillary to thwart Putin and explain why we allowed Uranium from our country to be sold to the Russians. Since you have a tough time responding to questions, I'll post this in your threads until you respond.

Coerced testimony given under duress is really not credible. If this is your case, you have no case.

If we are now prosecuting people for tax fraud, banking fraud, money laundering, not registering as a foreign agent, and taking money from Ukraine and Russia....

Clinton and Podesta families are on suicide watch.

Mueller's new indictments yesterday against Manafort and Gates indicated that Gates had refused to plea bargain. But now that's apparently changing.

What I think went down is that Gates vacillated on the first set of charges and so Mueller said "that's the way you want to play this? Well chew on these other ones."

Facing many years of jail time, and with a young family, Gates has apparently decided to plea for lesser jail time in exchange for information.

Now, Gates wouldn't have to worry about any of this if he felt that Trump were a trustworthy person. I have no doubt that the Orange POS has approached all three of his former campaign members (Manafort, Gates, and Flynn) with the possibility of pardons. But we know from experience, don't we, that Trump will flip on a dime depending on the last person he talked to, and always in defense of himself. If it ever came to be that Trump saw those pardons as damaging to his own case or to his own image he will stiff all three of them. Gates knows that.

Not sure if this will ever come of anything, but did enjoy that Gates's lies that he pled to seem to have involved a Manafort meeting with Rohrabacher (Gates seems to have lied about the fact Ukraine was discussed).

I'm not following this nearly as closely as I did at the outset (or even as of fall) and it was still tough to keep everything in front of me then.

At this point you have to believe that (1) Mueller is just looking to run up stats on convictions, (2) that he's dragging this out for some political purpose (midterms, whatever), or (3) that he knows what he's doing and is working around to a/some primary objective(s). Kind of like a movie with a disjointed plot that all just comes together in the last 25 minutes of the film.

Manafort's statement about Gates today basically called him a baby-back bitch, so it looks as though that relationship may be toast. Next couple of weeks could be interesting. You have to believe that Mueller's team has collected just about all the raw evidence they can hope to find. I imagine the pleas are about getting people on the inside to help them piece together the parts they're having trouble fitting into the bigger picture.

Yeah, quite a falling out. The indictments paint a picture that these guys were thick as thieves during the fat Yanukovich money-laundering/tax-avoiding days (pre-2014) and during the lean post-Yanukovich bank fraud days. I have to imagine he's giving Mueller something non-trivial to plea down from $30 million in money laundering and bank fraud to false statements and one count of conspiracy, especially since it seems to be strong paper case that doesn't seem to need his testimony. Manafort and Gates have been working for the last 10 years to re-install and prop up a pro-Russian puppet, so...

yeah, who knows?

Looks like our man Rick lied during his proffer. I think it was later that day that his attorneys filed to withdraw from representation.

Wonder what that 2013 meeting on Ukraine was about. Attended by Manafort, Dana Rohrabacher and Vin Weber.
