Looks again like Richard Gates is flipping

Mueller's new indictments yesterday against Manafort and Gates indicated that Gates had refused to plea bargain. But now that's apparently changing.

What I think went down is that Gates vacillated on the first set of charges and so Mueller said "that's the way you want to play this? Well chew on these other ones."

Facing many years of jail time, and with a young family, Gates has apparently decided to plea for lesser jail time in exchange for information.

Now, Gates wouldn't have to worry about any of this if he felt that Trump were a trustworthy person. I have no doubt that the Orange POS has approached all three of his former campaign members (Manafort, Gates, and Flynn) with the possibility of pardons. But we know from experience, don't we, that Trump will flip on a dime depending on the last person he talked to, and always in defense of himself. If it ever came to be that Trump saw those pardons as damaging to his own case or to his own image he will stiff all three of them. Gates knows that.
