I can’t really compare it to anything in my life, other than Katrina and seeing the rest of the country take up the “sympathy” mantle for Louisiana and those affected but even then it didn’t really register or affect my life.

I’m imagining seeing a video like this of these morons dancing like this with signs that said “we love Cajuns” “save Louisiana” etc, I would feel super awkward and wonder what the frick is going on
