This sucks as Tiffany would've smoked Hong, now he will lose against Crowley. Really needed one state of WI/MI/PA to have a Republican governor in case of election chicanery in the 2028 presidential election. Tiffany's campaign messed up big time by starting to dump opposition research on Hong before the primary was over.

Yeah I think its pretty clear the establishment democrats are riling up conservatives for these primaries to protect their own candidates. We shouldn't be going after any of these socialist candidates until they are actually up against republicans.

There weren’t too many contested GOP primaries other than a few county races. Many didn’t feel the need to go and vote because the governor nominee was a foregone conclusion.
This is an open primary state. Many who I know voted in the DEM primary who will not vote for them in the general.
The turnout totals and vote tallies in the deep red counties where nothing was contested will be interesting. At 5:30 last night I was voter #87 in my deep red township. That turnout is ridiculously low but there was nothing contested on the GOP side to drive turnout up.

I have no doubt the Democrat establishment pulled some shady shite to make sure she lost the primary. They were F UCKED if she didn't. "MAGA" Tom Tiffany was sure to win the Governor's seat if she had won the Dem primary. Now it's more within the Dems grasp to win than with Hong because Crowley can pick up more Independent votes than she would have.
