I know that I’m in the majority of right thinking and right leaning Americans by thinking that the longer that this silly shite goes on, the longer the average swing voter wonders WTF the Republicans are thinking.
There are lots of fires burning all over the world. Some of them cannot be put out immediately but can at least be addressed and watered down by a united front of a solid right wing working together.
Others require immediate attention. The shite storm in the ME. the border crisis. Our out of control budget.
Those things CAN be addressed and ARE in need of immediate and damn near emergency attention. And yet we look like incompetent buffoons yelling and threatening each other. Nothing is getting accomplished. The voters clearly see that. And they quite rightly place the blame on the Republicans.
When house republicans are viewed as more incompetent than a senile old idiot who can barely finish a sentence or remember where he’s at most of the time, there’s only one entity on which the blame can be placed.
The dysfunctional republican controlled house. They control the money. The purse strings of our government. And they are having a dick measuring contest.
The business of the country is being held up by petty rivalries and self aggrandizement.
And it’s sickening. I wish that I had an alternative.
