The lib-owning value of this headline is reduced a bit when you remember why Judge Otero issued this stay in the first place (that Cohen was likely to be indicted, which this decision suggests he still believes).

He didn't say. The original reporting from the raid indicted probable cause search for FECA violations, wire fraud, and bank fraud, but his buddy Gene Friedman pled down in State court to a fine and probation on tax evasion and fraud related to taxi medallions. Goods on Cohen may have been part of that plea deal. From the Times:

Isn't the ruling that it's stayed while the criminal investigation into Cohen (which includes the payments Stormy) are pending? I mean, I wouldn't exactly call that a win for Cohen/Trump.
