WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on Monday that Democrats may try to pass much of President Joe Biden’s coronavirus relief bill using a process that would bypass a Republican filibuster and could pass with a majority vote.

Doesn't that take 60 votes? Or did they already change the rules....

Everyone surely saw this coming, right?

Dana Perino will probably say on The Five that she is just shocked that democrats would do such a thing.

Shocked, I say.

You want to see ivory tower cowards run for their jets full sprint because the people rise up... that's how you do it.

Kabuki Theater.

Mitch and the Dems knew this was the way forward. He needed an out to cover for him and that was "They have assured me that the filibuster will remain intact".

Everyone knew that shite was done the second it was threatened.

Has it been settled that Schumer is the senate majority leader? I thought it was 50/50 and he had to share the role.

Yeah it’s called reconciliation

That’s how the Trump tax cuts were passed

No need to create an non-existent boogeyman for this

When they try to get rid of the filibuster for real we’ll know
